QUIZ: Which famous movie poster describes your life?
Your life is a bit out of control. You’re a passionate person, but sometimes you can be too consumed by your obsessions. You’re a hard worker who spends way too much time at the office and often wonder if you'll look back on your life wishing you had done something else. When it comes to romance, you don’t always carve out enough time to meet and get to know anyone, though you often have crushes that tend to quickly fizzle out. Go ahead, take a vacation (you've more than earned it). Work smarter, not harder, and ask that cute co-worker out to lunch sometime.
Your life is pretty stagnant at the moment, and your struggles come in waves. Just when you seem to pull your head above water, you quickly find yourself back under. But even when things may get tough, you’re tougher than you know. You just need someone to give you a good kick in the rear and you’ll find the momentum you need to get ahead. You feel overwhelmed from time to time, and your daily stress sometimes seems too much to bear. But with a little practice you can learn to manage all the stresses in your life. Maybe take up yoga (preferably on the beach at dawn) and learn to meditate to the sounds of ocean waves.
Anatomy of a Murder
Your life may fall apart sometimes, but you’re an expert at piecing it back together. You’re the glue, the focus in your group of friends, and everyone looks to you for guidance when times get tough. Your approach is always a proactive one, and you seem to keep a cool head when everyone else is freaking out. You don’t give yourself enough credit, however, and you claim you’re never as needed as the people around you say you are. Give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done, but don't forget to let others be strong for you from time to time. You don’t have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders.
Attack of the 50 Foot Woman
Your life is on course. You have a plan, and you follow it to a T. You’re extremely organized and always look three steps ahead. You’re very much in charge over every aspect of your work, home and relationships. Unfortunately, though, you sometimes lack spontaneity. Your occasional need to control everything can sometimes drive others crazy and cause you stress. You always contemplate the big questions in life and often wonder where all your planning is really taking you. Slow down and look at the stars every once in a while. Don't feel the need to always have the answers; sometimes things fall into place when you least expect it.
Your life can get pretty mundane sometimes. You often feel like you're going through the motions of your daily routine without much thought for anything else. You have a good job, a nice place to live and strong relationships with your loved ones. Still, sometimes you can't shake the feeling that something's missing. You often feel like your life lacks passion and hesitate to steer too far from what’s expected of you. Sometimes risks are necessary, however, and breaking away from your routines can help us learn what really drives us. Take time for yourself and don't get so caught up in the daily grind that you forget to have fun.
Sometimes it seems like your life is moving at the speed of light (blink and you'll miss plenty). Then other times, it’s moving at a snail’s pace. Some weeks may come and go without much fanfare, and then others might seem as if you've managed to cram a lifetime into them. When life does get crazy, though, you always manage to pause it long enough to get it back on balance. Sometimes it’s hard to know what’s up and what’s down, but that’s part of the charm. Your philosophy is that it's better to have a full life lived short than a long life not lived at all. Keep crossing the line, but take measures each time you do. It’s fine to dive right into life, but first check to see how deep the water is.
Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope
Your life is one adventure after another. You’re a thrill seeker who gets a high out of taking risks. Some people would stick around working at a job they hate, but you’d rather quit on the spot and figure out what to do later. You’re a survivor who manages to always come out on top one way or another. You’re not the type to take attitude from anyone. It doesn't mean you're aggressive; it just means you know your worth. You stand up for yourself and others, and you don’t sweat the small stuff. Unfortunately, you don’t always have real financial security. However, you're a big dreamer who won’t be deterred from following them, which others find very admirable. Keep dreaming big, but try to plant your feet a little further in the ground.
